THERAPUTIC COUNSELLING FOR ADULTS
Counselling Support for Anxiety, Bereavement, Identity, Trauma & Life Changes
Life doesn’t always unravel in obvious ways.
Sometimes it’s subtle — increased irritability, emotional numbness, constant worry, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
Anxiety Counselling
Anxiety can show up as racing thoughts, difficulty sleeping, muscle tension or a constant sense of unease. Together we explore both the thoughts and the underlying emotional experiences that fuel it.
Medical Trauma & Health Anxiety
A diagnosis, hospital experience or ongoing health condition can disrupt your sense of safety in your own body. Medical trauma therapy creates space to process those experiences gently.
Gender, Sexuality & Relationship Diversity
Exploring your gender, sexuality or relationship identity can bring up a whole range of thoughts and feelings. You may be questioning your identity, coming out, exploring your gender, navigating changes in your relationships, or simply trying to understand yourself more fully.
As a counsellor specialising in Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity (GSRD), I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore who you are without having to explain, justify or defend yourself. Whether you're questioning, transitioning, coming out, navigating relationship diversity, or simply looking for greater self-understanding, we can work together at your pace to make sense of your experiences and find a way forward that feels authentically yours.
Bereavement & Loss
Grief is rarely linear. Therapy offers a space where it doesn’t need to be.
Bereavement can affect every part of life, and there is no single “right” way to grieve. Whether you’re coming to terms with a recent loss, carrying grief from many years ago, or finding that bereavement is affecting your relationships, identity or everyday life, counselling can provide a safe and compassionate space to explore what you’re experiencing. Together, we can make sense of your grief, at your own pace, without judgement or expectation about how you “should” be feeling.
Addiction & Coping Behaviours
When behaviours that once helped you cope start to feel difficult to manage, counselling can support you in understanding what’s underneath them.
